I don’t have much to say today….hitting the 2 year sober mark is wonderful.

My life is rich

My life is full of wonder

My eyes are open

My perspective has changed

My journey feels new

It’s not perfect

There are challenges

Big Ones

By the Grace of God

I’m here

Becoming Disciplined

Valuing Integrity

Experiencing Love

I am young again

In this sober body

I am blessed

By you

You who share your lives

You who share your fears

You who share your hurts

You who write your joys

You who write your love

You who read

I thank you today for motivating me

for guiding me

for being my soft place

Today I’m grateful

Today I am Motivated!

Just found your blog through a giveaway. I really like it and I’ll be coming back :)

    Congratulations on your two years!

Congratulations! Fantastic. I can’t wait to be there too. I love that you wrote about feeling young again in a sober body. Putting aside the brain work for a moment, it does feel really nice to have a body that isn’t working like a demon to process litres and litres of wine. A sober body feels good! Take care xxx

Way to go! I’m so happy for you.
But I need to tell you. Every time I read one of your posts, I feel guilty about how much I blog about drinking. You don’t hate me, do you? I swear I’m not the devil trying to tempt you.

HAPPY SOBER BIRTHDAY MY SISTA IN SOBRIETY!!!!!! I am so honored to share this anniversary with you! You touch so many lives with your blog, your honesty, your humor, your testament to AA and how there is so much more life to live than just staring at the bottom of a glass that will never have enough! May your third year of sobriety continue to bring you the richest of blessings, and I want to thank you for being a part of my sobriety! Love ya girl, and I must say you are looking fine :-)

I had no idea today was your anniversary! (just did not remember) Way to go!
This is kinda neat…I am just now writing my goodbye letter to what should be my last drink…then I came across your celebration!
We will chat soon I hope.
Best of luck with any up and coming speaking dates…would love to sit in on one.

What a beautiful anniversary to be celebrating Julie. Congrats on all the hard, hard work. Congrats on being motivated and staying motivated. You are a beacon to so many people, courageous to share your story and in turn helping people change their own for better. Best! xoxo
