A couple of weeks ago I told you all about my mini Tim Hortons Playdate on the search for Equal sweetener for Collective Bias. Collective Bias challenged me again to find Equal sweetener, this time it would be while I was in Toronto attending the Blissdom Canada 2011 conference.
As everyone knows, I’m always up for a challenge and for finding good coffee!
The conference was a busy time but I managed to recruit some fearless bloggers to join me in the hunt for Equal sweetener! This was to be a daring escapade, not one for the light of heart.
Ok seriously its me folks. We were on the 3rd day of the conference and I was exhausted so while my fellow much more adventurous bloggers would have preferred to stroll around to a fab coffee shop, I insisted on the restaurant attached to the conference hotel.
The fantastic bloggers who joined my quest were @onlybluemomma
 and @nicnacmaniac
These 2 ladies are fantastic and I knew that we would enjoy spending time over good food and coffee.
When we arrived, we weren’t surprised to see that it was packed full of bloggers. The restaurant, Fionn MacCool’s is located next to the Toronto Hilton (fantastic hotel!)
I was right about the good conversation but I couldn’t have been more wrong about the restaurant, will my friends ever forgive me? Thankfully for Fionn MacCool’s this isn’t a review on their restaurant, suffice it to say that I waited 45 minutes to receive a 3/4 full cup of cold coffee.
As you can see by the photo there wasn’t any Equal at this place and we were too busy sending back food to discuss choices with the wait staff or manager.
In the end we had a great time with one another, the whole Blissdom experience was amazing and I’ll post more about it throughout the week.
As for today, I believe I completed the challenge and again have been unsuccessful at finding Equal sweetener.

At first, I was feeling bummed that we didn’t have out coffee date after all. But now that I read about the 3/4 full cup of cold coffee, I’m not so much. LOL
Julie, it was wonderful to chat with you and look forward to future coffee dates.
Cheers!
Oh Diana it was bad! next time we’ll actually get that coffee time together darnit
