Everyone Wins With Chicken!
Today I’m spreading the word, Chicken Farmers of Canada has launched a national campaign “Everyone Wins With Chicken“. This is a brilliant campaign, where Canadians reach out to their MPs and encourage them to submit chicken sandwich recipes.
May 7th-11th is Hunger Awareness Week
Hunger affects everyone – and over 40% of the people who use food banks in Canada are children. Here’s a chance for you to make a difference. The Everyone Wins With Canadian Chicken campaign wants to get all Members of Parliament to submit their favourite chicken breast sandwich recipe for a chance to win!
- First Prize – $10,000 donation
- Second Prize – $5,000 donation
- Third Prize – $2,500 donation
The winning recipe will also be served to over 10,000 people at the 20th Annual Great Canadian Chicken BBQ in Ottawa on Canada Day. All MP entries will be included in a digital cookbook that you can download.
Come on, you know you want to tweet or email your own MPs using the MP Twitter Listing and sending messages to MPs in your province. What a great example of using social media to contact your member of parliament!
I’ll even make it easy, here’s a sample tweet: Hey @MPxxx, our local Food Bank needs $10,000. Pls submit ur chicken sandwich recipe. http://bit.ly/HU9Zwu #WinWithChicken
