#WWEMoms SummerSlam Twitter Party Aug 16th

Another HUGE WWE event is fast approaching, August 19th will see the 25th SummerSlam rocking The Staples Center in LA. For those of us fans who are unable to attend in person the planning for Pay Per View Parties has begun.

If you follow me (@SoberJulie) on twitter and have attended the @WWEMoms #WWEMoms twitter parties over the past few months you’ll have seen me threatening to design a worthy wrestler outfit….this is a bit of a frightening thought indeed but as I was strolling through a store with my daughter today I found these fantabulous gold lame pants and couldn’t resist! Now I just have to compile the rest of the outfit and come up with a worthy wrestler name….

I assure you the entertainment at SummerSlam will be worthy of a costume, personally I cannot wait!!

Triple H vs Brock Lesner

Though it took weeks to make happen, it’s finally official: At the 25th Anniversary of SummerSlam, WWE COO Triple H will get his wish, stepping in the ring against the obstinate Brock Lesnar to create “The Perfect Storm.” The battle will mark the very first time that the two heavyweight warriors lock horns in one-on-one combat.

It’s the match that The Game has been campaigning for since returning in June at No Way Out. In one corner will be The King of Kings, who will enter the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles armed with ample motivation to teach the uncontrollable Lesnar a lesson. From a professional standpoint, the WWE COO wants to defend his company against the litigious, high-maintenance monster of a fighter who sought to “legitimize” WWE with his headline-stealing return in April. Personally, Triple H is looking for retribution from the individual who savagely broke his arm with a Kimura Lock in an unprovoked attack on Raw many weeks ago

Jericho vs Ziggler

Despite coming up in two completely different eras, Chris Jericho and Dolph Ziggler are, quite possibly, the perfect opponents. Rivals more similar than most, “The Best in the World at What He Does” and The Showoff possess personalities that are so closely matched, so wholly alike, that their collision was inevitable. And now, at SummerSlam on Aug. 19, the first-ever Undisputed WWE Champion will face off against Mr. Money in the Bank in what threatens to be a show-stealing matchup.

While Jericho is an established ring legend with a seemingly unending list of championships and accomplishments in a career that has spanned two decades, Ziggler is already on the verge of a possible second World Title run in his comparatively short time with WWE — thanks to his recent Money in the Bank contract win.

CM Punk vs. John Cena vs. Big Show

If WWE Champion CM Punk’s controversial attack on The Rock at Raw 1,000 was not meant to provide water-cooler fodder so much as to remind The Great One of who’s champion, then his actions on Raw episode 1,001—interfering in a No. 1 contender’s match between John Cenaand Big Show and declaring them both “losers”—underscored the point that the WWE Champion is not to be stepped on.

What The Second City Saint may not have factored in, however, was the response of Raw General Manager AJ Lee, who announced that Punk will face both Cena and Big Show in a pivotal Triple Threat Match for the WWE Title at SummerSlam.
