Last week was a busy one, I attended the ShesConnected Conference in Toronto and was left with many warm memories. This didn’t mean that it was simple, as a recovering alcoholic I always have to prepare myself when attending events which include alcohol consumption.
After attending many conferences throughout my life I finally decided to ask the conference organizers if they’d consider offering a tasty Mocktail at the bar of events. Thankfully the fine folks at ShesConnected.com agreed that it would be a good idea and Earth’s Own came on board with a Mocktail made with Almond Fresh.
Made with real almonds, Almond Fresh delivers a subtle nutty taste which is delicious in coffee, smoothies and cereal, or all on its own. Try Almond Fresh in Original, Vanilla & Unsweetened and Chocolate (NEW). Available throughout Canada and the US.
This is something which many social gatherings lack, something the hosts overlook. By simply offering non-drinkers an option which is “special” you create an environment which is welcoming to everyone. I was happy to see the Almond Fresh Apple-Tini Mocktail at each event in the evenings and truly surprised at how DELCIOUS it is!!
The Almond Fresh adds a smooth quality which blends so well with the apple and caramel; it’s light and refreshing and is a tasty addition to smoothies and hot chocolate. I look forward to playing with recipes and sharing more with you all here, for now I’ll leave you with the official recipe to enjoy with your family and friends!

The appletini’s were yummy!
Yes they were!!!
That looks yummy!!!
Sounds very interesting – I wouldn’t have thought to use Almond Fresh to make drinks like that!
Honestly I wouldn’t have either…..and now I’m hooked!
This looks amazing. Can’t wait to try it!
Julie, that is a great point that people over look the less “typical” needs. We are gluten free and often that is over looked too! thanks for pointing this out.
