Ok brace yourselves here folks, I am about to introduce you to your latest passion. One that brings the delicious taste of milk chocolate with some oh so adorable mini peanut butter cups and is finished with the crunch of Oreo cookies. Sigh I’m in LOVE with this simple dessert recipe.

At this point I will warn you that there is potential for a MADNESS to set in with this baby, your dreams may be filled with visions of them….

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Madness – An Irresistible Dessert Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1-1/2 cup of milk chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 bag of Oreos
  • 1 bag of mini peanut butter cups

Chocolate Oreo Peanut Butter Cup Madness

Preparation:

Begin by removing one of the cookies from the Oreo, I used a knife and pried it off gently. Place 3 mini peanut butter cups evenly onto the oh-so good Oreo filling.

Now place another Oreo on top with the filling side down onto the mini peanut butter cup.

Place your chocolate chips and butter into a bowl and melt in the microwave. Microwave on low and stir often. Now place each of your cookie creations onto a fork and dip into the melted chocolate until fully covered.

Place onto a sheet of parchment paper and allow chocolate coating to harden, serve and watch your guests fall in love.

    Instead of using the butter with the milk chocolate chips, I would probably use chocolate candy melts. Less chance of separation when heating up the chocolate. Just a suggestion.
