I’m A Sucker for Mexican Food – Proud To Be Old El Paso Ambassador #YouMexiCan

If I were given the chance to choose only one style of food to eat for the rest of my life it just might be Mexican! I’m a sucker for the flavours, cheeses, sauces and yes of course the FIESTA that always seems to accompany Mexican dishes. When Old El Paso presented me with the opportunity to become a brand ambassador I was chuffed, visions of lovely foods are already taking over my daydreams.

I grew up in a home here in Canada where Mexican foods weren’t on the menu. I’ve forgiven my darling, British Mum Rosie for neglecting my tastebuds….sigh…oh how I was deprived. This all changed when I encountered my very first Fajita, there was freedom and joy in being able to build my own little meal right there at the restaurant table. Oh how my teenage heart filled with love for the bold flavour.

When I found the Old El Paso kits in the grocery stores in my 20’s I was thrilled. This to me was the chance to be able to bring my chosen dishes from the restaurant to my table at home. As time has passed my culinary skills have improved (thank goodness!) and I’ve taken to enjoying many different dishes that are a bit outside of the box which I try to share here.

As an ambassador I’ll be using Old El Paso dinner kits to bring forward some delicious recipes, I’m determined to get creative and share my love of Mexican foods with you all. In the meantime head over to the Old El Paso Facebook page and see what they’re cooking up.

Do you adore Mexican food like I do?

What’s your favourite dish?

Disclosure: I’m part of the Old El Paso Ambassador program and I receive special perks as part of my affiliation with this group. The opinions on this blog are my own.
