Since I was a girl, I’ve loved spending time imagining and creating with Barbie. From my very first flight attendant Barbie to my Mum’s rolled eyes as I requested yet ANOTHER tight bun, my childhood is jammed with memories of Barbie play.
As my own daughters have grown, I’ve had the pleasure of reliving my childhood playing Barbies with them. They are so much more creative than I was, we spend hours developing the characters of our dolls and getting creative with the fashions. This is time I value, it allows me a glimpse into their little brains and we create memories together.
Barbie My Dreams
Recently we’ve been spending time playing on the Barbie My Dreams website. My girls are very tech-savvy and I’m constantly monitoring the safety of their online activities which is why I was thankful that they enjoy the time spent on Barbie My Dreams. This is a family-friendly, safe site where they can get creative and even have chances to WIN different contests.
The site is reminiscent of Pinterest, the girls can search around their favourite Barbie characters boards and repin anything they like. They show off their style and keep up with everything that is new in Barbie’s world, including promotions.
Setting up a profile is simple, you just go to Barbie My Dreams and choose a user name, enter your email then choose your avatar and background. That is how easy it is!
Barbie Express Your Style Contest
Right now anyone with a profile on Barbie My Dreams can enter the Barbie Express Your Style Contest.
This contest is a way to show off your personal style, how you stylize your Barbie or showcase your style sense by uploading your favourite outfit. Doing this gives you a chance to win a trip for four to Toronto for an unforgettable shopping experience. Contest closes March 23rd.
The best part of this site is that all photos are private and cannot be viewed by the public! This is the one time when I allow our girls to upload photos of themselves online and feel good about it!
Disclosure: This is a sponsored post, all opinions are my own.
We got tickets to a premier showing of the latest Barbie movie (Barbie and the Pearl Princess) two weeks ago from this site. My daughter loved getting dressed up in her “fancy” pink sequined dress and pearls and going to such a “special” event. The movie was great too. This site rocks and I am happy to see that you are sharing it with the world. We love it to.
Oh my gosh Holly she must have been so CUTE
