It’s been 6 months now that I’ve been more focused upon my health, fitness and yes weight. In January I committed to becoming more fit and healthy by taking control of my eating and exercise. I began going to the gym, it was slow going at first but I went to the classes I could and over time I began to see a difference.
As time went on by body became stronger and I became braver. I continued to attend classes at the gym but increased my cardio and weight workouts. I also began eating Paleo (caveman) foods and again I saw positive changes. I have not been eating 100% Paleo, more like 85% and I still feel much better than I did in the past. I have lost 22 pounds so far but have recently hit a plateau where I haven’t seen the scale going down.
Now please don’t get me wrong, I LOVE my body as it is. It has taken me YEARS to get to the point where I am confident just as I am today and I’m proud to be in that mental space. Loving my body doesn’t mean that I don’t want to improve it. I’m not on a quest because I’m ashamed or in a negative place. I’m on this quest to go farther, to shoot higher and get my body into a fit state where I want it to be. Â I have my eye on long-term good health and fitness, not simply a dress size.
Isagenix 30 Day Weight Loss Cleanse
I have decided to do a 30 Day cleanse with Isagenix products. This is NOT a sponsored post, I’ve purchased these products myself and am sharing my honest opinion of them with you all here as I go through the next 30 days. I have been watching friends who have had great success with Isagenix over the past few years and I want to see how it works for me.
My hope is that my body will feel better once it’s rid of toxins, that I will get a boost in my weight loss and maybe, just maybe my chronic headaches/migraines and knee/neck and back pain will disappear. This may be a stretch but mama can hope right?

Day #1 on Isagenix 30 Day Cleanse
Yesterday was my 1st day, I have 2 days where I will drink 2 shakes a day plus a whole bunch of other stuff you can see HERE and 1 meal which is 400-600 calories. In total I’ll be having 1000-1200 calories a day, all of the nutrients and vitamins I need are incorporated. You can read more about it in the links above.
The shakes taste good, I made them using 2 scoops of the Isalean Shake, 8oz water and 1 cup of shaved ice.
I did get a headache at about 2pm which lasted the day, this is obviously because I’m detoxing after giving up coffee!
Yes it’s true, I’ve given up my beloved coffee for 30 days…sniff. But it’s worth it!
My dinner was typical of my Paleo meals before doing this cleanse and it was of course DELICIOUS!
Yesterday I headed to the gym and attended my favourite Yoga class, in the afternoon I enjoyed swimming with the kids and doing laps then in the evening my husband and I took a long, brisk walk together. Getting moving is helping me take my mind off of the thoughts of food.
I haven’t been hungry yet but then I haven’t had the true cleanse day yet, I’m sure those 2 days a week will be difficult but it’s the mindset right?
That’s it for today, I’ll update you again in a few days and of course I will be sharing my impressions daily on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
This sounds like a great product! It’s awesome that you’re sticking to your plans as it’s very hard to stay on track and continue pushing yourself. Wtg! Looking fab by the way ☺ Keep up the great job!
thanks Jason!
Im really looking forward to hearing how the cleanse goes for you – I have thought of doing one myself, so hearing how this particular system rates in an unbiased way may be what I need to get up and do it !
Exactly why I decided to do this entirely out of my own pocket….and so far it’s amazing.
Good luck interesting to read how you find it as time goes by. I
good luck, I’ve been reading all these post and wish I could, but I can not give up coffee yet.. glad you’re keeping with it :D
I’m very interested in keeping up with your progress! I’ve been wanting to do something like this for years, but just didn’t know what one to choose! Keep up the great work!
I have been thinking about doing a cleanse so I will definitely be following along to see what you think of these products.
I will be following you on your journey of the cleanse, I’d like to see how this works. Myself I am on the Visalus shakes in the morning and taking Skinny Fibre, and changed my whole eating habits, hopefully this works
