As a travel-lover, I have a bucket list of places I’d like to visit and explore. One of the places on my list is the Turks and Caicos Islands. Turks and Caicos Islands are 40 islands and cays in the Atlantic Ocean, southeast of the Bahamas. The island of Providenciales (known as Provo) is home to the tourist hot-spot Grace Bay Beach, with luxury resorts, shops and restaurants.
Blue Haven Resort is located on the Northeastern tip of Providenciales in Turks and Caicos. Set away from the more busy area of Grace Bay. At Blue Haven you’ll find it’s a more secluded spot where you’ll be treated like a VIP from the moment you arrive when you’re greeted with cool towels and fruit punch on the lanai.
Blue Haven Resort is a part of the Turks and Caicos Collection which is a collection of beachfront resorts that includes Alexandra Resort, Beach House Turks and Caicos, and Blue Haven Resort and Marina. When staying at any of these resorts, you can use a free shuttle to go use the amenities at the sister resorts!
I was super excited to be invited for a 2 night stay at Blue Haven Resort so that I could share my thoughts with you all. I was with my friend Tammi from My Organized Chaos and we stayed in a glorious 2 Bedroom Suite which was OVER THE TOP beautiful.
2 Bedroom Suite – Blue Haven Turks and Caicos
As you walk in you enter the kitchen which rivals any I’ve seen in homes. It is fully stocked with everything you can think of as far as cookware and utensils.
There is a double wall oven, a cook top, full-sized refrigerator and so much more. The generous sized island is a lovely spot to sit and chat as someone is cooking dinner.
With the open-concept feel to the suite, right next to the kitchen is the dining room which has seating for 6. The decor is light and airy with tiled flooring and well-thought out lighting. There is air conditioning which you control and fans with outlets on the wall where you control the speed and direction. There is a cabinet in the dining room area which is perfect to use for beverages and there was even mosquito repellant provided for us.
The living room is comfy, just perfect for lounging out in the evening. The wifi is strong in the rooms and there are TVs in the living room and bedrooms if you’d like to use them.
Each of the two bedrooms has a King sized bed which is truly luxurious! Add to this high-quality bedding and pillows of differing hard/soft values and it’s going to be a good rest for everyone.
Storage isn’t an issue in these large bedrooms; there are cabinets, closet organizers and side tables galore. With safes in the closet, robes, water and coffee I almost didn’t want to leave my room!
Do I need to actually say anything about the bathroom? Yes I do! There were 2…yes 2 bathrooms in the suite. One had a stand up rain head shower and one had a full soaker tub with the rain head shower option. These are gorgeous, fully stocked and a bit of heaven really.
The balcony of our 2 bedroom suite was the star of the show! With comfy furniture and views like these, Tammi and I enjoyed spending time there sucking in all of the beauty of Turks and Caicos.
Dining at Blue Haven Turks and Caicos
Fire and Ice – Dining at Blue Haven is a treat for anyone who would consider themselves a foodie! Our first dinner was at the Fire and Ice restaurant which is located right on the grounds of Blue Haven.
The atmosphere is beautiful. From the moment you walk into the open-air, water-side restaurant you are embraced by the light and airy feel. With toole drapes separating the tables and the light coloured chairs, it’s a whimsical place.
Fire and Ice offers a contemporary Mediterranean menu which has a variety of choices. With fresh ingredients and such talent in the kitchen we were flat-out impressed with our meals. Here you can see a crab cake and beef carpaccio which we enjoyed.
Salt Bar & Grill
A more casual dining option at Blue Haven Resort is the Salt Bar & Grill which is located a short walk from the main resort area at the only marina on the island, Blue Haven Marina.
The atmosphere is very relaxed, it’s a comfy spot which is great for watching a sports game or having the kids relax during a meal. With indoor or outdoor seating, the nautical vibe draws you in.
The food is familiar with favourites like a burger or ribs but there’s thought put into the ingredients. With choices like appetizers, sandwiches and burgers along with fresh catch of the day…the menu has plenty of options.
We enjoyed a salad, nachos, ribs and a burger with avocado and chipotle mayo…yum!
Dining Plan Announced
Recently, The Turks and Caicos Collection has introduced an optional daily meal plan at its properties on Providenciales.
The collection of beachfront resorts consists of Alexandra Resort, Beach House Turks and Caicos, and Blue Haven Resort and Marina. Each resort offers an optional daily meal plan for $120 per person, and half price for children ages 12 and under.
A daily breakfast credit for adults based on standard room occupancy is already included in rates at the resorts. The meal plan includes the breakfast credit and also provides lunch, dinner, and select alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages by the glass at lunch and dinner.
For optimum dining flexibility, guests may choose the number of meal plans that they wish to purchase. For instance a guest staying for five nights may choose to purchase the meal plan for two days, thereby still having the freedom to sample other restaurants on Providenciales during their vacation.
When it comes time to explore other dining venues, the Turks and Caicos Collection resorts offer a free dining shuttle between properties. The restaurants at the resorts include:
- Asu on the Beach – Alexandra Resort – International favourites and local dishes with an emphasis on seafood
- Kitchen 218 – Beach House Turks and Caicos – Contemporary, gourmet cuisine
- Fire & Ice – Blue Haven Resort and Marina – Contemporary Mediterranean cuisine with innovative sharing platters
- Salt Bar & Grill – Blue Haven Resort and Marina – Casual bar food and a popular happy hour

Absolutely beautiful, all of it! Your suite was very luxurious and so many comforts of home and in some cases so much better! The view from the balcony is just stunning! The dining and the food looks very good! My someday for sure!
Hi Julie! Was just wondering if this resort was all inclusive or could you buy it as such?
