No-Fail Banana Bread - Our EASY Family Recipe

  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2½ cups of banana (I store browning bananas in my freezer just for this reason)
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 cups of flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
  2. Mix butter & sugars until fluffy
  3. Add eggs one at a time until well blended then add in vanilla, bananas and sour cream
  4. In a separate bowl combine flour, baking powder and baking soda
  5. Add flour mixture into batter, mix just enough to combine
  6. Pour into a loaf pan, fill up to ⅔s full
  7. Bake for 30 minutes or until the middle of the loaf is set
