Orange Chai Tea Recipe - Perfect for the Holidays
  • 4 cups water
  • 6 cloves
  • 4 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 4 black tea bags
  • Peels from ½ orange
  • ½ orange, zested
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  1. Combine water, cloves, cinnamon sticks and cardamom in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat and cover.
  3. Allow mixture to steep for 10 minutes.
  4. Strain the liquid, return it to the pan and reheat.
  5. Add the black tea bags, allowing them steep for a few minutes, then add the orange peels and zest.
  6. Add the milk and stir in the honey.
  7. Pour into mugs, garnish with orange peel swirl and serve.
