  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup light corn syrup
  • 2½ cups flour
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup of your favourite candy bar, chopped into chunks
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease two baking sheets and set aside for later.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the butter, brown sugar and sugar with an electric mixer on low speed until combined.
  4. Add in corn syrup, egg and vanilla and mix on medium speed until mixture is combined together.
  5. In another bowl, add the flour, baking soda and salt and stir together.
  6. Add dry mixture to wet mixture and beat on low speed until blended together.
  7. Add in chopped candy bar and mix together with a spoon.
  8. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto a greased baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Cool cookies on a wire rack. Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
